Star Woven Straw Hotpot

Description A round, lidded hotpot hand-woven entirely from natural straw, its lid finished in a radiating spiral pattern and the body in a crossed lattice weave. Handwoven by artisans in Gujrat.

2. Crossed lattice weave on the body, distinct in texture from the lid's tighter spiral.
3. Lightweight, natural fibre construction that insulates and keeps flatbreads warm at the table.
4. Dimensions: 11" width, 5" height.
5. Part of the basketry collection, distinct in material and technique from the ceramic Kashi Kari pieces elsewhere on the site.
6. Natural variation in straw tone and weave tightness is expected, as with all handwoven work.

Each hotpot is wrapped and boxed with padding to protect its shape and weave in transit.
