Suroor e Parinda – Zard Bahaar

Three deep-blue birds perch around the rim of this bird bath, watching over a bowl painted in sunny yellow with clusters of turquoise blossoms and a single hand-painted butterfly resting among them. A chevron band wraps the base of the bowl before it narrows into a slender, floral-painted pedestal on a rounded foot. Hand-shaped and hand-painted by artisans in Hala, Sindh, the warm, garden-bright palette makes it a standout centrepiece even before the birds arrive to use it.
