Suroor e Parinda – Neel Chaman

Three small turquoise birds gather at this bird bath — two perched at the rim, one bent low at the centre as if drinking. The bowl is hand-painted in deep cobalt blue with white leaf vines and clusters of red and yellow blossoms, a pattern that continues down the sculpted pedestal to the base. Hand-shaped and hand-painted by artisans in Hala, Sindh, it's built to be the visual centrepiece of a garden, its curved silhouette and rich colour holding attention even before any bird arrives.
